Fans of Bravo's mega hit reality show Real Housewives of Atlanta have followed Porsha Williams' journey of finding love ever since her she first received the coveted Georgia Peach in 2012. From her rocky marriage with the overbearing Kordell Steward to her ex-fiancé Dennis McKinley, viewers waited with baited breath for the fan favorite housewife to find her true prince charming. Well it looks like the time has finally come as Williams plans not one, but three separate wedding ceremonies with her new lover, film producer Simon Guobadia.
Since their relationship is only two months old, the news of the lovebirds' engagement came as a shock. Gudobadia took to Instagram to announce their elopement saying, "I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL of each other's boxes, and then some."
He dazzled her with a magnificent 12 to 15 carrot emerald ring. Jewelry expert and CEO of WP Diamonds, Andrew Brown told Page Six Style that the ring must've cost around $1-1.25 million by his estimate.
In an abundance of elation, Williams openly bragged about the splendor of her upcoming wedding on Dish Nation. As Gudobadia gave her full reigns of planning the event, Williams took her ambitions to the max by proclaiming that she'll be arranging three ceremonies for the their nuptials.
"[Simon's] African so we will have our native law and custom ceremony and a regular wedding," she explains on the radio show, "and then we'll have another wedding at one of the houses that are out of the country."
As the Housewives of Bravo always go 110% for their weddings to be perfect and camera ready, it's more than certain that each of the ceremonies will be a sight for sore eyes. While the wedding will more than likely be a private ceremony, viewers will get a chance to see the couple's lives play out in Bravo's freshly announced three part special about William's life.
While many speculate the synchronicity of the engagement announcement with the new show as a well timed publicity stunt for ratings, a source from the network took to Page Six to debunk any rumors.
"It was greenlit months ago, so it has nothing to do with this [engagement] news," the source states, "The special is supposed to focus on Porsha, her activism and her family.”
With Williams and Guobadia's combined net worth of $40,400,000 million, all three ceremonies are sure to be nothing less than extravagant.
